We had ten vendors today and some regular vendors went to the Stanley Fair. We started out with a sunny morning but a lot of cloud moved in but it didn’t rain. Three new vendors joined us today. Cody MacMullan, a teen, was selling kindling; Jordan Waye who is the new owner of Dorcas’s U-Pick brought his cultivated blackberries and Ink Monkey’s Ltd. set up their first pop-shop selling their brand clothing lines including Ink Monkey’s, Hockey Mom, Hometown Shinny and their newest idea Nashwaak River Gentlemen’s Club. We hope you all join us again.
The weekly raffle was donated by Katherine Sullivan – 6 jars of homemade pickles and jams. Thank you! Rhona O’Hara was the winner. Margaret Somerville won the $5.00 market voucher. Our Market Lotto was won by Len Bennett. He was very happy when he was informed later that he was $100.00 richer. We very much enjoyed the great music from Roger Brown and sister Imelda Wilmot. Many thanks to you both and please join us again sometime. September 10th is the date of the next market which marks the beginning of our weekly Fall to December market season. Come and check us out. Free coffee!
